I&#8217;ll be speaking at Celebrating Equity: Women in STEM at ELAC.<\/p>\n<p>STEM = Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics<\/p>\n<p>ELAC &#8211; East Los Angeles College<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s 12:15 &#8211; 1:15 pm and it is free. There are six panelists (including me).<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.thejuliagroup.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Women-in-STEM-Poster.pdf\">Download Women in STEM Poster<\/a><\/p>\n<p>I presented last year and our company also had a booth. We hired two people who I met there.<\/p>\n<p>Often, I hear people say that their company is all white\/ Asian \/under 40 because all of the developers \/ animators\/ audio engineers\u00a0 that applied just happened to fit that demographic.
