The Julia Group is a collaboration of consultants with expertise in statistics, mathematics, instructional technology, programming and evaluation. Our clients are predominantly educational, social service and contract research organizations who are experts in their own fields but need some additional staff in our specialty areas.
We’re the first to admit that we are an atypical company, having originated as a satellite office of a company with headquarters on the Spirit Lake Dakota Nation. We spun off as an independent company in 2008. In twenty years we have probably spent thirty minutes on search engine optimization and our website is revised annually whether it needs it or not.
We devote ourselves to finding the best match between our capabilities and our clients’ needs. We’ve found out a funny thing over the years. What they need is for us to listen to them, discover their own resources and where we can best help them. Usually that includes data management, program evaluation and statistical analysis (we can modestly say we’re pretty great at that), but it may extend to writing grants, presentations, reports to funding agencies, staff training, either on-site or on-line. We choose our clients as carefully as they choose us, and it invariably turns out to be a long-term relationship.
